Local singer-songwriter-dancer and long-time Fairfield Township
resident Dawn Woods released her first music video featuring her
song ”Capture”. The song, which debuted February 1 at #44, has
hit #27 on the March 1 Billboard Dance Club Songs chart.
“It is so exciting to be able to do what I love to do", said Dawn
"and share my creativity with the community and the world.”
Dawn has teamed up with Cincinnati performing arts graduates
Cameron Johnson and Candace Simpson of BangOut Films and
dancers/Fairfield residents Ali Magers and Tara Otting of Midwest
Cheer Elite to produce an electrifying first video of the song.
Dawn wrote the melody and did the choreography for the video.
Dawn’s journey has taken her to New York City, Chicago, Atlanta
and Los Angeles to perform, record and to work with producers

and A&R (artists & repertoire) people who have worked with A-list
artists like Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, and Lady Gaga. For the past
six months, Dawn could be found performing with her band, the
Dawn Woods Band, on various nights at the Horseshoe Casino in
downtown Cincinnati.
